“Professional Culture of the Specialist of the Future” is an interdisciplinary conference dedicated to professional development and the challenges of modern society.

The aim of the conference is to form a platform for discussing and solving a wide range of issues related to the future of education and the formation of the professional culture of a specialist, as a basis for further scientific research and a reasoned dialogue between universities and society as a whole. Experts in the field of humanities, social and technical sciences are invited to participate in the conference.

Review Process

By submitting a paper to PCSF, the authors agree to the review process and understand that papers undergo a peer-review process.

Manuscripts will be reviewed by appropriately qualified experts in the field selected by the Conference Committees. All papers are reviewed using a single-blind review process: authors declare their names and affiliations in the manuscript for the reviewers to see, but reviewers do not know each other’s identities, nor do the authors receive information about who has reviewed their manuscript.

Publication in a journal Technology and Language is free.

General requirements for articles for publication Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems (Springer)

The paper should be original:

  • no plagiarism;
  • no simultaneous submission to multiple journals;
  • no republishing a paper or a considerable part of it, including translations from another language;
  • the articles must be written in high-quality English language;
  • here is the template for the paper.

History

The first conference was held at the turn of the century in 2001.

The new 21st century has significantly changed technologies of teaching and the requirements for the specialist of the digital age. This fact has caused great interest to this problem among scientists from different countries. And in 2002 the conference received international status.

Venue and Accommodation

Saint Petersburg (former Leningrad) is the second largest city in Russian Federation, politically incorporated as a federal subject of Russian Federation. It is located on the Neva River at the coast of the Gulf of Finland on the Baltic Sea.

The conference will be held in the Research building (NIK) and Main Building of Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, Saint Petersburg, Russia.

The modern congress center with comfortable halls is equipped with everything necessary for conferences and other events. The center is located in the heart of the university campus on in the north of St. Petersburg in walking distance from the Metro station Polytechnicheskaya.
